By accessing or using heartofjuniper.org or any programs or services offered by Heart of Juniper Foundation, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use our site or services.

If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you use our services or enroll in any program.

2. About Heart of Juniper Foundation

Heart of Juniper Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in Florida (EIN: [TODO: INSERT EIN]). Our mission is cultivating leaders among youth ages 13–23 through mentorship, programming, and community engagement.

3. User Accounts

Participants and authorized users may register for accounts through our enrollment process. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others

4. Program Participation

Enrollment in Heart of Juniper Foundation programs requires:

• Completion of our program application process
• Parental or guardian consent for participants under 18 years of age
• Adherence to program conduct standards as outlined in program materials
• Execution of a participant agreement prior to program commencement

Heart of Juniper Foundation reserves the right to remove participants from any program who violate conduct standards, at its sole discretion, without refund of any fees paid.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on heartofjuniper.org — including but not limited to text, images, Foundation Letters, curriculum materials, logos, and program resources — is owned by or licensed to Heart of Juniper Foundation and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any Foundation content without prior written permission from Heart of Juniper Foundation.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Heart of Juniper Foundation's website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We make no warranties regarding specific program outcomes or the performance of any third-party services integrated with our platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Heart of Juniper Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our site or services.

In any event, Heart of Juniper Foundation's total liability to you for direct damages shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

8. Dispute Resolution

Arbitration is OPT-IN. If informal negotiation does not resolve the dispute, you may elect binding arbitration by notifying Heart of Juniper Foundation in writing within 30 days of the dispute arising. If you do not affirmatively opt into arbitration within 30 days, you retain your right to pursue claims in court.

To the extent permitted by law, all disputes must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our site or services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
